I'd stick with the Commander.  The 374A likely only has two tubes (the
original 374 had three) and doesn't really run any more power than the
Commander.  The bandpass tuning ("no tune") feature of the 374A is nifty,
but since the amp is now officially in the "old" category it will likely
need repairs soon, if it hasn't had repairs already.  I've had almost every
part of the 374A expire from various causes over the years, and most who
have used them actively for all these years have likely replaced a lot of
