Hello,

A friend in a foreign land has Emailed me
to say his home brew four 572b amplifier
filament transformer failed.

He's been able to locate a same size
~25.5 volt CT transformer and would like
to use it.

The Kenwood TL-922 has a series
connection heater, the drive divided from
the tuned input with coupling caps.

I'd like to read any or your opinions about
trying to drive 4 directly heated cathodes
(572b) connected in series?

Have any of you done said, does it work
or not work for some reason?

thanks for your replies.
