Indeed, think I recall an article by Mr Ulrich Rhode in
an old Ham Radio magazine that 1N4007´s could be used in
applications like this.
Beats me what Peter is doing in this lousy country!

Indeed, Peter. I've used them on 144MHz with 25w.


Some makes also don't have the long carrier life time that the original Motorola's did......
