At the recent Belton, Texas hamfest (Oct 1 & 2), I purchased a National
NC-100X, without the speaker, from a ham selling outside from his pickup
truck. He was the same ham who sold a HRO-60, with speaker and coils to
someone else.

After getting the instruction book, thanks to W9OJ, I notice that it
requires a dynamic speaker (field coil), and that this ham may possibly
still have this speaker in his storage shed. I have a speaker from an old
RCA 45 that will work, but of course would like to have the correct
speaker.

Problem; I did not ask for his name or call. He is the same ham who sold me
the Heath AT-1 and HW-40 at Belton, in the spring.

Hoping either he, or someone else, who can put me in touch with him, reads
this .

Lessons learned: Ask who I am purchasing from, especially when they are as
nice as this fellow was, to remember to bring me the instruction book for
the AT-1, I purchased the last time.
