The extension cord looks kind of scary, but perhaps enough to temporarily
run an amp on an expedition?
K0PP ran his HF amp with two cords like this in the mid-70s, and did it
until he moved from CO to MT. Somehow it always seemed like "cheating"
and might be (sorta) OK in a pinch but not something you would do for
years and years. But it worked fine for Ken.
