I homebrewed the power amplifier with the gu 78 .
 This amplifier utilize a PL tank circuit .
For increase the separation between L1 and L2 , I would like to utilize
for L2 a toroidal core .
My difficulty is to select the suitable type  toroidal core for not
meet in a dangerous saturation .
This aplifier is measured for 5KW power out .

Luca,

For that power, three of the common T-200-(Red) stacked powdered iron
cores should be just right. Or a comparable mass single core. I'm
assuming the HF bands and a 50-ohm load.
