So if you are running AB2 at circa 3,000 volts on the plate, and let's 
say... 5 volts of zener bias, and 230 ma of grid current -- would be a 
little over 1 watt of grid dissipation.  (.230 X 5 = 1.15 watts).

Did I do that right?

There is no max grid-I rating.  The max rated grid dissipation is 20w,
but several experimenters have found this to be somewhat conservative
-- probably because the grid is made from Mo, which melts at 2617ºC.

Figuring grid P --- According to "Care and Feeding ... ... ..." ,
grid-dissipation is approx. the indicated DC grid current multiplied by
the RMS grid to cathode potential.
