Probably could do the same mod as Henry did on the 3K Classic (3CX1200D7) to
create the 3K Premier (same tube, added 160m), it's pretty well documented
but adds a bandswitch position, large inductor, several doorknob caps, new
plate RFC, etc. If you can get hold of the 3K Premier schematic, I'd use
that as a guideline since the plate Z between the two amplifiers ought to be
just about the same (4kV 750mA either case)... -WB2WIK/6
