Will and all.

I will only be using the amp/relay set up for SSB operation and I though
I had read somewhere that the antenna switching had to be done before
the bias was changed so the I did not think the delay was a problem but
a plus and would make it safer for the tube and amp. Also I already have
several 120vac 10amp DPDT relays on hand. I have the relays already
mounted on a sheet of alum with the 12vdc powered by the radio supply
and will be switched by the radio/amp relay. The 75vdc supply is
complete and mounted by the relays. I do have one 3PDT but I did not
think the RF should be through the bias relay? The more I read the more
confused I get.

Rich,

Well the only problem will be the time delay of one relay switching
another. The diode can be a 1N4004-1N4007 and the cathode goes toward
the supply side of the coil (the other way shorts the coil out). The
switching side of the coil goes to the n/o contacts on the small
switching relay. If I were going to control the bias on/off with a
relay, I'd use a 3PDT for the antenna relay, and use the 3rd contact set
for this similar to what Heath and others do.

Best,

Will
