I didn't say that. I qualified my assertion to CW operation only. 
Not SSB, not RTTY, not PSK. Those are different modes that REQUIRE 
that we transmit blind (or deaf). But not CW -- we CAN choose not be 
be deaf if we want to be considerate of our fellow hams. And those 
who don't should go back to 11 meters.
