RCA plugs are stone age I admit, but soldering is pre-stone age.

As another poster observed, Molex is an alternative but we 
homebrewers need a kind which is easier to mount (no square or 
rectangular mounting holes). Molex's idea of assembling the pin to 
the wire first and then installing it in the holder is a good one. 
The Molex plugs I have seen are not shielded though, another thing 
that needs to be remedied.

The more I think about it, the more I like RCA plugs. :-)

Any other suggestions?
