Dear Ron,

I recently put together an outboard supply and needed to have
a wide range of filament control, especially with dual primaries
for 117/234 vac in the filament xfmr.

The solution was to install a dual, 250 watt rheostat in each
of the transformer primaries, in series with each winding.

It came from Surplus Sales, and was still in the foil bag
from the mil surplus distribution, had a steel frame to
make mounting by the front or top/bottom a simple
task.
