Precisely. At high frequencies, the shunt capacitance would probably dominate.
And with values this high, it's not usually anything other than academic anyway.
I would argue that what you need is the appreciation of the particular
frequencies and resistor values at which the parasitic effects need to be
considered, and where they don't. Blanket statements can be a dreadful
oversimplification - like the question in Amateur Extra exam on what is
resonance.
