All,

I had heard that the old General Radio connectors, (GenRad connector), or part
number GR 874 was no longer being made. IET who bought out part of the GenRad
line wants to convert everything to BNC and all new products are using BNC is I
recall. These are very good hermaphroditic type connectors which can just be
plugged in and can be used up into microwave frequencies. On ebay, these things
sell for a fortune from I guess where people think they are no longer being
made. However, they are indeed being made by Delta Electronics. You can buy the
standard coaxial connectors, or the between series connectors, T's, etc. They
have a downloadable catalog, and you can order a printed one or on a CD. I just
looked into this where I needed a couple that were GR 874 to BNC and ran across
Deltas website. They are the only one I know making them.
