It's very doubtful that it is really the administrator. I notice it was
_Administrator in the email address. I went to the original Amps email I
received and extracted the heading info and copied it below: It gives a
history from origin. Notice the address on the line I labeled (HERE)------>.
The real administrator's email was spoofed a few days ago. He took some
measures to assure it wouldn't happen again.
Ed may be the victum of an idiot who has used his call as the prefix in
creating a new email address at the domain centurytel.net. These kind of
people can be tracked but only if the ISPs are willing to give up the client
info and server log activities. Besides, if there isn't a set amount of
monetary damage Ed has suffered from the result of this, then there really
isn't any laws broken. Shame isn't it? But, that's the way computer crimes
are. X amount of damage dollars must be involved else the plaintiff is just
barking up an empty tree.
