Thanks to all who responded, I could not find the schematic for the Sb-200  
in the manual I had.  Looks like it got misplaced.  The diode appears  to be in 
the ALC circuit which I do not use, it did blow up like a small little  
firecracker even though the ALC was not in use.  Someone is sending me a  
couple.
