4-1000 tubes are tuff stuff fairly cheap too when you can find them
2 good ones that match up
one old boy up in IND had a 2 hole setup for 160 / 80 only
Ran 7500 B+ in GG and drove them with a FL2100Z .

6K on one 3-1000Z tube can be fun to see too, ill hold that though!
now legal limit 3.5 K B+ @ 50 watts should be close
with 2 tubes
Its something about the 4-1000 that when you go pass 4.5K on the plates
it really starts making big power but wants more drive , which is
kind of backwards ..
weak parts start failing once you pass that 5K mark "danger "
pretty soon its going to be just as hard to find a 8877 as it is to find
2 good fat 4-1000s
