Hi Guys,

I just don't get it: folks are ready, willing, and able to spend HUGE
dollars, for such relatively simple equipment!

It's a sure sign that our dollar count has exceeded our brain cell count ---
sorry to say! Perhaps the looming recession will force folks to be smarter
about such things, & learn to be resourceful again, the way Hams USED to
be...

I run a kilowatt here into a transmatch that'll EASILY handle the OLD AM
power limitation --- all homebrewed from surplus / Hamfest sources, too. It
was NOT all that hard a thing to do...the major pain, in fact, was probably
the headaches I got from forcing myself to actually LEARN something! Hi Hi,

YOU CAN DO IT --- as the guy in the ING commercial says, "...Save your
money!"
