Grumman used to make an adaptor kit but it may not have had a 7/16 in it.

Grumman Rigid Coaxial Adapter Kit, Grumman P/N 123SEAV16550-1

There's one shown at http://www.torontosurplus.com/ but I can't tell
from the picture if a 7/16 is in there or not.
