I HAVE A 3 813 AMP AND I WOUND MY TRANSFORMER .... USE AN OLD MICROWAVE
TRANSFORMER AND CUT THE SECONDARY AWAY AND USE NUMBER 10 HOUSE WIRE OR
GET SOME NUMBER 10 WIRE FROM YOUR LOCAL MOTOR SHOP AND WIND ONE . JUST
REMEMBER THAT FROM CENTER TAP THAT THE WINDINGS MUST GO IN A DIFRENT
DIRECTION ON EACH SIDE. IM THINKING IT ONLY TAKES 8 TO 10 WINDING ON
EACH LEG.. IF YOU HAVE TO MUCH VOLTAGE JUST REMOVE WINDINGS UNTIL YOU
HAVE THE PROPER VOLTAGE... ABOUT 11 VOLTS WILL DO FINE YOU WILL GET
ABOUT 10 VOLTS UNDER LOAD.\\\GO LUCK IN THE CONTEST... RICH
