Possibly a better way would be to put a small inductance between the plate and 
the pi-net. 
It won't have much effect on the lower bands but will form an L network to 
raise the 
impedance seen by the tube on the high bands. I haven't done this myself but 
have seen it 
in some 4-1000A amplifiers.
