The original datasheet says S=23mA/V +/- 3mA/V, therefore two tubes should
have an input resistance of 19-25 ohm in grounded grid

Subject: [Amps] Input Z for 2xGI7b

Gentlemen,

What's the concensus on the input resistance of a pair of GI7b?

For the resistive component, I've seen numbers in quite a wide range - from
30-145 ohms. That's quite a spread!

I was hoping that the range could be nailed down more closely for the design
of the input matching network. Perhaps someone out there has been there,
done that.

Thanks!
