Hi all.
As the supply of decent band switches is diminishing,what is the
feasibility of using relays with heavy duty contacts say 30Amp rating.
I say this as a neighbour of mine worked on High power SW transmitters
and he said that they used relays is they had to change bands as
specified by customer.They are used in auto atu/amu`s where there are
large circulating currents,
So what is the views of the communality as Band switches in UK at least
is becoming bad,to none existant.
