REPLY:

Every amplifier I have ever owned has exhibited current drift similar
to what you have seen. When you apply power, literally everything in
there starts heating up and heat causes expansion. It happens within
the tube, the tank circuit, everything. What you are seeing is just
the net result of it all. I wouldn't worry about it.
