I am looking to find someone that may be very familiar with the QSK
circuitry in Amp Supply
amps. I have a 500-ZC model with what I believe is a modified QSK
circuit and the manual is
unclear about wiring. I believe I am missing a couple of wires between
chassis and QSK board
and am interested in finding a resource willing to take a look at their
amp "as wired" so I can
move ahead with restoring full QSK.I seem to be missing the connection
to Pin 8 on the QSK
board which should come from Key In?
I got here because the vacuum relay began to stick and I wanted to
replace it. Before that
can be done I need to make sure I understand why it failed, otherwise I
will be back here
again in about 2 years. FWIW, the amp was operated in QSK for about 2
years prior to the relay
failure. From what I can see on the schematic it would be able to
operate this way (QSK fault)
but would damage the vacuum contacts over time due to hot switching.
If this isn't an appropriate place to discuss this issue I apologize in
advance. Any help greatly
