[Amps] TL-922a and IC-718

Hi All.

I am trying to get a TL-922a amp running with an IC-718. I have the keying 
circuit isolated from the rig with a relay and that part works fine. However, 
after a few keying cycles and talking the audio in the rig becomes extremely 
garbled and the RF out on the amp gets intermittent when I go to key up again. 

Any ideas?
