Relay contacts aren't fully connecting on receive every time. When I first got 
my AL-80A from K4GA, it was doing this as well. You need to clean the contacts.

Don't use anything as abrasive as emory cloth. Get some stiff paper -- QSL card 
stock works well. Put a little contact cleaner on it and burnish the relay 
contacts. Should clear it up.
