I have most of the parts to build an homebrew amplifier except the HV
transformer. I am going to run about 2500 volts or less but need about 500 ma.
Where could one lead me to find something that would work? I have been to
Hammond and Surplus Sales. I am not cheap, but I am frugal.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't
have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find
any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is
Common Sense divine?
