Norm Hockler   N8NH    was another good source   for  YC-156's 

I think the other tube that's virtually identical to the 156.. is called
a YC-179. 

I don't have Norm's  e mail  or ph number.  

At one time he had a fair number of tubes available... + mating SK-306
chimney  +  fil xfmr etc. 

Norm  tested all his tubes in a  working amp.  

Dunno if Norm still has access to the YC-156 /YC-179  or not.   Does
anybody know.. or have his ph number /e-mail ??
