Carl, that just means you're not driving them hard enough <:-))
It probably means you won't have that output coax short either.  I'd say 
back when I was in business the largest number of problems I fixed on 
Clipertons was that coax shorting. The dielectric would melt from the 
heat in the final compartment  allowing the center conductor and braid 
to share the same space.
