My AL-1200 with an A7 tube is going on 12 years and going strong. I predict
that it will out live me and the spare I have will probably extend to the life
of the AL-1200 with A7 tubes through the lifetime of who ever buys it after I'm
a SK.
I'm still using the same 3-500's in my SB-220 I built in 1976 that is now my 6m
amp. I think thy will out live me as well.
Why convert the amp to a Z7???
