Even with the best watt meter, ie: my Bird digital RF Power Analyst, if the 
load is mismatched, the forward power can read much higher than the actual 
output.  This guy should also list the reflected power at the time of 
measurement.

Of course, you are missing the optimistically calibrated signal meter.

I just ran across a 2KW on e-bay listed at 1800 out for 100 watts of drive.
I had one, but at 100 w of drive, with new tubes I never managed much 
more than about 1200 out.
IIRC the manual also stated 1200 out.

Am I, or did I miss something?
