There's a whole lot of superstition surrounding these amps, good and
bad.  A lot of people have made a lot of money over the years scaring
the hell out of the portion of the Amateur Radio crowd that doesn't
understand electronics, which is a pretty large portion these days.

There are some mods that make things better, some that make them
worse, and some that do nothing at all.

If you do not do the mods, your SB-220s will not start spontaneously
creating antimatter, I promise.
