I remember reading (on amps?) awhile back that there is in fact two
different 6A10 diodes. On in 100 volts and the other is 1000 volts. I seem
to remember that the 100 volt one was in Europe ?

## I have both the 6A10  [ 1kv]  and also the  800 v  version  [ also 6A ] 

The 800 V version is slightly smaller diam.   But length is the same.  leads 
are 
also the same ga, and same length. 

The 100 v @ 6A version is a heck of alot smaller diam than a regular 1 kv / 6A  
diode. 

If u hi-pot test any 6A10 diode  for leakage, you will find that it's  typ 
1400v  piv.
