Can you imagine anyone paying 1/2 current retail for a 4-1000A of unknown 
condition and expect the buyer to be the guinea pig??

Im the one who mentioned the Collins BCB rig that a few hams have converted 
to 160 and 75 and was simply going to pass along the info about the 5-500A's 
which are pulls and likley garbage anyway. They are a throwaway $10 gamble 
tube with nothing to back them up. Now I wont even bother as 4-400A's work 
well for owners that own those rigs.
