Hi All,

I have placed this picture of GS35b PA only to demonstrate how it is easy
to build PA with this tube. It can work without socket, in horizontal
position as well, with modest air cooling.

It is possibly to find plenty mistakes in this design, but this PA
was built in 1985, it was totalitary regime in the USSR ( similar to
Cuba or N. Korea now), we had only a few radioamateur
books, but no were kW PA descriptions in them due to 200W legal limit.

Now it is possibly to find a few good descriptions with GS35b, some of
them are placed on the Paul's ND2X/5 site: www.nd2x.net

GS35b allows to build cheap, simple and stable kW PA even for
beginners and will forgive many their mistakes. Its single
disadvantage is big drive power (60-80W).

GS35b is one of 2 the most known Russian tubes, another one is GU74b
(4cx800a).

Best regards,
Alex, UR4LL
