I'm OK with the constant comment... the antenna focuses the energy, effectively increasing the amount of energy being received and being radiated... no problem.

Gosh I have a different take on the abt being an amp. It certainly does
amplify the outbound as well as inbound signals, something worth having in
addition to an RF amp.
