| Well, first thing is I goofed earlier and the Ameritron choke does fit in
the Alpha 76 series. I had to take the cover off mine to check and it is in
there!
I believe one forum member had his arcing to the blower and wound up putting
a sleeve over it. I may have elongated the hole a bit for more clearance;
its been awhile.
Too many amps too little time(-;
As far as Amp Suppy, the owners wife caught him dipping his wick to his
secretary and she cleaned him out. He tried it also with wife #1 when he
owned Dentron with the same results!. Now happy with #3 for a few decades+.

This blows up on 17M and the Ameritron wont fit. You will need
something
similar to what Amp Supply used or wind your own.

I always thought the old Amp Supply made some nice components. I used
their tuned input on the 3CX3000A7 amp I made back around 92 and it
was wonderful. What ever happened to them? They didn't seem to make
junk.
