Subject: [Amps] Alpha 76 "SNAP" noise

Greetings all,

I have a 3 hole 76 that I recently "cleaned" with brush and vacuum. It
tunes and runs very nicely with no bad reports however, when idling in the
High Voltage position occasionally I hear something inside "SNAP". Not sure
what it is. Sounds like it is up near the meter. Notice that the meter
light goes back to green from amber and there seems to be a slight dip on
the HV reading on the meter. When it first started happening it was a bit
more frequent, but now maybe once every 45 minutes or so.

Anyone seen or heard of this before?

Thanks

73

Keith
