There are lots of 50 V 60 A supplies (3 kW) on eBay that are surplus
from the telecom industry at cheap prices, in the range of $40 or so.
Search eBay for part number 226519-001. Prices are all over the map so
shop around.
Run them in parallel with a splitter resistor of low value, .01 ohm or
so, 50 watts.
Not sure if "splitter" is the correct term or not. I mean a resistor
of that value in each output and then joined together. Maybe "voltage
equalizing" is a better term.
