The problem of excess tube capacitance is discussed in any recent ARRL
handbook in the amplifiers section. A simple coil in the anode lead
will create an"L" network which reduces the impedance down to a
reasonable level which can be tuned with a reasonable sized tune
capacitor. I have used this technique several times bandit works like
a charm.

The neat thing about this is that the coil is effective only on the
higher frequencies and "disappears" on the lower bands.
