It has been many years now, but back when I was maintaining a
Continental 317C-2 50kw AM transmitter, I had many 3CX3000A7 tubes
rebuilt by ECONCO,and they actually lasted and performed better than the
new Eimac tubes. These were the screen modulators, so if the tubes
weren't good, you heard it!
