I have a 1.5K-FA SPE here. Great amp, however getting any tech info out
of SPE is like getting blood out of a stone.
There is a tech doc for the 1KFA which seems the only tech info ever
released from SPE ;

That may be useful as they are all very similar in design.

voltage measures 34.9 volts instead of 48, confirmed with front panel
and fluke across the terminals. A small heat-sink in the power supply

I have not been successful in sourcing much information on this supply
other than a general data-sheet, certainly no schematics, though its a
switch mode power supply so...
Any more info out there?
