In the late fifties at George Washington High School in San Francisco, we had a
Ginger Snapp, Sandy Hyman, and Johnny Mathis (yes the singer), as well as his
younger brother Ralph, also a singer. Sandy and three other girls were
arrested for swimming in the moat surrounding Monkey Island at the zoo. Their
pictures, along with the monkeys was in the next day's S. F. Chronicle. All
