Somewhere I have a copy of an early release data sheet for the 3CX800 - before it was re-rated to 750W (so a pair = 1500W) to fit in with FCC rules about output specifications. From memory it has 2500V max. and gives operating conditions for 1300W rf output.

Eimac specified a maximum of 2250V.

3cx800 tubes like 2600-2700 on the plates for maximum gain.   2000 volts is
a bit anemic for 3cx800 tubes.
