Horizontal loops (I am assuming you will bring the wires back together at
a feed point) make fairly good all-band antennas. Patterns are not
especially predictable without a detailed layout--with some reservations
for whatever the terrain has on it and its own slope. However, if the
antenna materials are inexpensive and the labor is free, it is certainly
worth experimenting with. You can try several variations: full loop,
open one end, open a point across the way, etc. All depends on how you
wish to set it up. However, modeling the variations for all the bands
would require a detailed layout--something for the prospective builder to
do with one of the antenna modeling packages.
