Sam, you might contact Randy W0MJ or
Bill N4AR. Randy had a phased bobtail on 80m
in the early 80's and I believe Bill also had
one a little later. Neither are very active
now but it appears they both are still listed
on QRZ.com. I don't know for sure but I had
the impression they spaced them 1/4 wl and
used 90 degrees phasing.
