At K1VR we worked several JA stations on 10 meters running 500W (yes 5 with two zeros): JA7RHJ, JA8RWU and JH7DNO. RE: VC8DR I personally (AD1C) worked him on a couple of bands, since I need Zone 2 for my CW WAZ award. I wouldn't have called him except that I heard other statside stations working him, and if he's going to give out stateside QSOs, why shouldn't I take advantage? 73 - Jim AD1C |
