jim k6zh & anyone else great score qrp -- i for one am gald to have anyone work me. and it's not the qrp guys who are weak -- it is as you say the ones that are using 100w or more and really poor antennas/feedlines. km5x,wn4kkn and i did a qrp field day from n5au and i was amazed at just how many guys call you that you cant hear! mean weak , weak as water. i have come to expect this running a kw -- but if i am running 5 watts. and people are calling in who a so weak that you can only imagine that they are really calling you -- what are they using for antennas? these are the ones who tell you that you are the loudest signal on the band! so anyone know one of the stations discribed above -- please tell us what their secrets are! geoiii wb5vzl austin c.k.u. |
