Dayton post-mortem

This is not really a Dayton post-mortem, but since no one else has said
anything, I thought I would dump something.

The only slide show I saw was for VS6WO, and it was great. Those boys made
a really big score from the middle of no where with some really simple antennas
(three element yagis on the high bands) during CQWW CW last November. The
contest dinner was interesting. K1AR was the moderator and he mercifully
kept the rate up. The speaker was NK7U, who told some great stories about
operating from various hotel rooms accross the country back when he spent
a lot of time on the road.

There were a lot of CQ-CONTEST readers there. In fact, maybe we should have
our own banquet at Dayton! :-) There were two or three readers that I saw
to whom I never got a chance to say hello because of the heavy QRM in the
hostility suites. I really enjoyed having a chance to visit with the rest
of those in attendence. Here is a list of CQ-CONTEST people who I saw there,
as best I can remember:

AA2DU AA2Z/1 AC9C AG9A K1AR/2 K1CC K1DG K1EA K1GQ K1VR K1XM K2WR K3LR K3NA
K3ZJ K5NA/2 K5RC K9ZO KR1R KR2J KS9K KT5V KU2Q N4TY N5HD N6AA N6TV N8ATR
N9HZQ/4 NJ2L/1 UA3AB W0UN W0YK/6 W2SC W6QHS W9XT WA8YVR WB2CPU WB9TIY WN3K
WW1M/9

Pretty neat.
